    Features

Print That Stays True Across Every Box

    01

    Full-Colour Print Across Every Panel

Print fills the entire exterior, edge to edge, with no white margins unless your design calls for them. Sharp registration across panels keeps logo edges crisp on close inspection. Suitable for photographic artwork, gradients and saturated brand colours that need to read true on every unit produced.

    02

    Spot-On Brand Colour Matching

For brands with strict colour rules. We match your exact brand colours against your supplied artwork (using Pantone references where you have them), then check the result on a digital proof before any plates run. Brand colour targets are flagged on the production sheet so the press operator works to your spec, not a screen interpretation.

    03

    Foil, Spot UV and Embossing

Detail finishes that layer over the base print. Foil stamping in gold, silver, rose gold or copper for metallic accents. Spot UV for selective high-gloss areas. Embossing or debossing for tactile lift. Combine finishes to highlight a logo, pattern or wordmark without retouching the base artwork.

    04

    Inside-Print Options

Print extends to the lid interior, the inner walls, or the base panel that appears as the box opens. Adds an unboxing moment that lands the second a customer touches the product, without restructuring the box construction or paying for a separate insert card.

    05

    Print Across Box Formats

The same brand artwork carries across mailer cartons, tuck-end folding boxes, sleeves, sliding tray-and-sleeve constructions and rigid lid-and-base packaging. Useful for multi-format launches where a product family needs visual cohesion from shipper to shelf, regardless of the underlying box style chosen for each SKU.

    06

Kraft, White Card and Rigid Substrates

Print behaves differently on each substrate. Kraft absorbs ink and shifts Pantones warmer; white card holds full coverage cleanly; rigid takes layered finishes well. We adjust ink coverage and file prep so a kraft run and a white-card run from the same brand still read as one identity.

    07

    Repeat-Run Colour Consistency

Re-orders match the original run. We retain your dieline, print file, Pantone references and finish notes between production cycles, so a re-order placed twelve months later prints the same colour, same finish, same registration as the first batch your customers received.

    08

    Flexible Minimums from 100 Units

Start with a single hero SKU at 100 units to test the print on real packaging before committing to larger volumes. Multi-SKU brands often run an initial 100 to 250 units per SKU, then scale into broader runs once the print spec is locked across the range.

    09

Free Shipping with 8 to 10 Day Production

Production runs 8 to 10 business days from proof approval. Free shipping covers metro and regional addresses Australia-wide, with 3 to 5 day transit after dispatch. Total time from approved proof to delivered packaging usually lands in the two-to-three-week window for a first run.

    01 / 04

Print Quality for Brands Managing Multi-SKU Ranges

Most box manufacturers will print whatever you send them. The hard part is making the print stay the same across formats, substrates and re-orders. That is the gap this page covers.

We work with Australian brands managing real-world print headaches: a homewares range with seven SKUs, all needing the same forest green; a candle line moving from kraft mailers to white tuck-end cartons mid-launch; a beverage brand whose buyer rejected a re-order because the orange shifted half a step. None of those are exotic problems. They are ordinary print problems that catch teams off guard.

Where this page sits in the catalogue: if you already know the format you want, our printed mailer cartons page covers e-commerce shipping specifically, and the format-by-format pages each go deep on construction. This page is for buyers earlier in the conversation, the ones who want to know the printer can handle a range before they pick a single box style.

Brand teams, packaging agencies, e-commerce ops leads and founders ordering on behalf of multiple SKUs are the typical buyers here. The shared concern is consistency: print that looks the same in week one as it does in week thirty.

    02 / 04

Print Methods, Finishes and How We Match Your Brand Palette

Base printing is full-process CMYK. Standard four-colour printing handles photographic artwork, gradients and most brand palettes well. For brands working off a Pantone library, we colour-match each Pantone reference against your supplied art file, run a digital proof, and check the proof against your colour spec before any plates run. Pantone targets are flagged on the production sheet so the press operator does not interpret the colour from the screen alone.

Finishes layer on top of the base print. Matte and gloss lamination cover the whole surface and protect the print from scuffing in transit. Spot UV adds selective gloss to chosen areas, useful for raising a logo or pattern detail without committing to a full gloss surface. Foil stamping uses metallic foil pressed into the substrate, available in gold, silver, rose gold, copper and standard metallics. Embossing and debossing add tactile lift or recessed detail.

Inside-print is often skipped but worth considering. A printed lid interior, a coloured base or a short brand message on the unbox surface adds a moment without changing the box itself. We pair this work routinely with our printed folding cartons where the inner panel is visible the moment the carton opens.

The combinations matter as much as the individual finishes. Spot UV over foiled artwork. Soft-touch lamination with embossed type. Kraft printing with a single-colour spot Pantone. These are the requests that come up most for brands wanting print that signals premium without crossing into rigid-board territory.

    03 / 04

Materials, Box Formats and Print Coverage Options

Substrate affects how print sits on the surface. Kraft board absorbs ink, so Pantone targets shift slightly toward warmer tones unless we adjust during file prep. White card holds colour cleanly with full coverage available across the whole sheet. Rigid board takes detailed printing and layered finishes well. Corrugated board is the choice for shipping-strength packaging; we work with e-flute corrugated where a print-receptive liner is required.

Box formats covered include mailer cartons, tuck-end folding cartons, sleeves, sliding tray-and-sleeve boxes, rigid lid-and-base boxes, pillow boxes and gable boxes. The same artwork can carry across the range, which is the relevant point for brands running a multi-format launch. A skincare brand might use rigid boxes for the hero serum, tuck-end cartons for the supporting range, and printed mailers for the e-commerce shipper. The print specifications stay aligned across all three so a customer holding two boxes at home reads one brand, not three.

For format-specific dimensioning questions, our made-to-measure rectangular cartons page covers sizing in detail. This page assumes the format question is settled and the focus is print.

Print coverage runs from full-bleed across all panels to selective panel printing where only the lid or a single side carries artwork. Selective coverage is useful for brands wanting to keep the inside of a kraft mailer raw natural board while branding the exterior.

From Quote to Doorstep: Ordering Custom Printed Boxes in Australia

The ordering flow is four steps. Send the brief through the quote request form with artwork files (or sketches if artwork is not finalised), preferred substrate, format, finish list and quantity. We come back with pricing and a production timeline, usually within one business day. Once you approve, we send a digital proof showing print layout, dieline and any finish callouts. Approve the proof and production starts; expect 8 to 10 business days from approval to dispatch. Free shipping covers metro and regional addresses across Australia, with 3 to 5 day transit after dispatch.

Minimum order is flexible. We recommend starting at 100 units for a first run, which keeps per-unit costs reasonable while letting you test the print on real artwork before committing to a larger volume. Multi-SKU brands often start with one hero SKU at 100 to 250 units, then scale into broader runs once the print spec is locked. Repeat orders run faster because the print file, dieline and Pantone targets are already on record.

Physical samples are available on request before bulk production. Sample fees depend on the finish list. A base CMYK sample is straightforward, while a sample with foil, spot UV and embossing carries a higher setup. Digital proofs are included with every order at no cost.

Brands ordering printed packaging across multiple formats often pair this work with our branded retail product boxes service. If you are weighing up whether to lock the print spec before choosing a format, send the artwork and a rough quantity range, and we will come back with format options that suit the print and the budget.

    FAQ

    Have a question?

Browse the answers below, or get in touch and we will be happy to help.

What printing methods do you use for custom printed boxes?

Full-process CMYK is the base print method, with Pantone colour matching available for brands working from a fixed palette. Finishes such as foil stamping, spot UV, lamination, embossing and debossing layer over the base print as required. The right combination depends on your artwork, substrate and budget.

Do you offer Pantone colour matching?

Yes. Supply your Pantone references with the artwork brief and we colour-match each reference, run a digital proof for sign-off, and flag Pantone targets on the production sheet so the press operator works to your spec rather than a screen interpretation. This applies to first runs and re-orders.

Can the same artwork be printed across different box formats?

Yes. We routinely run the same brand artwork across mailer cartons, tuck-end folding cartons, sleeves and rigid boxes for brands launching multi-format ranges. Print specs stay aligned across formats so the visual identity reads consistently from shipper to shelf, even when the constructions are different.

How do you keep print consistent between re-orders?

Your dieline, print file, Pantone references and finish notes are retained between production cycles. A re-order placed twelve months after the first run prints to the same colour targets and the same registration, so customers receiving the new batch see the same packaging as the original.

What is the smallest order for custom printed boxes?

Minimum order is flexible, with 100 units recommended as a starting point. That keeps per-unit pricing reasonable while letting you test the artwork on real packaging before committing to higher volumes. Multi-SKU brands often start with one hero SKU at 100 to 250 units, then scale into broader runs.

How long does production take and can I see a sample first?

Production runs 8 to 10 business days from proof approval, with 3 to 5 days transit after dispatch. Digital proofs are included free; physical samples are available on request before bulk production. Sample fees scale with the finish list. Send a brief through the quote request form to start.
